Good morning day #5!
Yesterday went well, stayed within my points and didn't starve. lol Tim and I went grocery shopping, we were gone like 4-5hrs and spent nearly $400! That includes a trip to Costco, and some random non-food items along the way... but the majority of what we bought, was food. And healthy food at that! I took my points calculator and figured everything out along the way... took a lot longer, but this way there are no surprises!
My morning coffee has really been a thorn in my side, having to cut back to just one mug because of the points... so last night I bought a couple of things to try. Aldi's has a Fit & Active fat free french vanilla creamer, 0 pts per tablespoon, until you get up to 3 tablespoons, then it's 1pt per. It's not nearly as yummy and creamy as the name brand/full fat, but I found that if I use 3 T of the Aldi's and 1 T of the regular, I'm at 2pts per cup... a little better than 3, and if I can work it down to 1 per cup, I'd be thrilled! Stayed tuned, I'll be adjusting it till it works, lol I also bought splenda and french vanilla flavored splenda... so we'll see!
I go in to work today at 11:45... I figure I'll eat before I head in, and just maybe pack something for a snack. That way I won't really need to take a break and I can hope for an early-ish night. I'm feeling lazy this week. lol I may end up staying till close, depending on who else is there and who's managing... and how I'm feeling, but an early night sounds appealing.
