So, it's been a couple of days... Things are going well. I'm not being strict about my points, but I'm being very aware of my choices. I haven't overdone it with anything I've had, I'm not mindlessly snacking, nor am I eating whatever I want, whenever I want. I have my coffee w/cream in the morning, then I have lunch and dinner (If you can call it dinner, being 3ish, before heading to work). Sometimes a granola bar, an apple sauce or something small in between. There are a couple of things that I really REALLY want, but I've not given in. For instance, I've had a wicked craving for an IC Mocha all week, and I haven't given in and gotten one... though I might, tomorrow. Or not. And then, I want one of those fantastic looking pasta bowls that Dominoes is advertising. I can not stand Dominoes pizza, but man those things look delish!! Probably won't give in and have that either... can you imagine the points in one of those suckers?!
I'm going to hop on the Wii tomorrow and weigh in, to see where I'm at... then I'll leave it alone and check in for my official weigh in on Tuesday. I'm hoping for a good number this first week back. I sure could use the encouragement!
On to other things... The kids are doing well. Tim is getting his shit together, and pulling his grades up. He was tired of being grounded, and the threat of future grounding seems to be enough (for the moment) to get him on the ball. He's ready for Summer vacation, for sure! We'll have to work on him getting his license... and he's been talking about being ready to get a job. My baby is way more grown up than I like to believe. Too bad denial doesn't change reality!
Michael is a bit under the weather at the moment, he went to the Dr. yesterday, he has bronchitis. Dr. gave him some antibiotics, so he should be on the mend soon. They gave him pills... He takes 'em like a champ and is very excited to not have to drink the nasty liquid! His behavior has improved some, we don't have too many problems with him, most days. The kid is such a sweetheart, and has a heart of gold.
Moo is a Princess. A Princess with bruises head to toe, and skinned knees. Mussy hair, and a smudgy face. LOL She's something else. She's so excited to be heading to Kindergarten, and Fall can not come soon enough for her.
Not much else to report, just got home from work a bit ago, taking a few to unwind and then I'm heading to bed... So goodnight, and I'll report back tomorrow!
